Weaved into day one is the permission to lean into the aspects of self that make you rejuvenated, full of vitality, and the expansiveness that makes you excited for the possibility.

Journal why are they important to you?
I always love researching new self-care practices to find what resonates with my being. I like to keep my ritual process simple, as I don't want to be counterproductive with self-care overwhelm.

Think of your self-care as your own jigsaw puzzle that comes together uniquely and honour what complements your being.

​Values are a guiding light that leads to how we prioritise elements of our lives. They are not static but in flow pending in the context of your world at this time. This means, if you have explored your values in the past, there is a chance they could have evolved by now.
Activity
Did you know the subconscious aspects of our brain doesn't know the difference between our imagination and our reality? Therefore, you can rewire your mind to new possibilities, even though it's not replicated in your lived experience. Repeating this over and over enables your mind to lead your logical/conscious brain to the reality you are either living or imagining if you dare to dream.

Scenario
You are at your 80th birthday party, surrounded by your family and friends. It is time to give a speech, celebrating this amazing occasion and your life. When you prepared this speech, you spoke about the things that are so important to you, and how they played out in your life. You smile as your heart flutters at the memories you created by taking chances that felt aligned and true.
Part A
Your task today is to write your speech for your 80th birthday party, where you will share your most enriching stories about your life, what you valued most and what you are most proud of.
Part B
Once you have completed the speech, stand in front of a mirror and read this back to yourself. Look deeply into your eyes as you share the beauty of your vision for your life.
The beauty of this task is not to think logically and let your imagination run wild beyond the scope of your reality now. Connect with your inner joy and heart flutters as your write this story.
